This parent/child program is designed for the creative, curious, and active preschooler. Each 90-minute session offers a structured series of activities including original songs, movement, dramatic play, hands-on science, and a thematic snack. You'll receive coloring pages, song lyrics, vocabulary, a fun fact sheet, and a suggested reading list in an electronic goody bag!  In this session, we'll talk about how some animals use 'music' to communicate!

FREE Irish Dance Classes

FREE trial classes in honor of Saint Patrick's Day in Beverly MA

The Brady Kenny O'Brien Academy of Irish Dance in Beverly will be offering FREE trial classes in honor of Saint Patrick's Day! Come try a class on Tuesday March 10 or 24, 2015 and experience a piece of Irish culture. We offer classes for children of all ages, starting as young as age 3!

Lunar New Year at PEM

Celebrate Lunar New Year, aka Chinese New Year, at PEM in 2014

Join PEM as they celebrate the Lunar New Year!  2015 is the Year of the goat (or sheep) and PEM will host a day of family fun including traditional lion dances, a film set in Boston's Chinatown, sword play, traditional crafts and more! Join the festive mood in the Atrium — watch dance performances, create your own lucky lantern, hear some stories, experience traditional dance and performances, and take a family tour!

This parent/child program is designed for the creative, curious, and active preschooler. You'll receive coloring pages, song lyrics, vocabulary, a fun fact sheet, and a suggested reading list in an electronic goody bag!  In this session, we'll talk about animals and the snacks they eat!

"MOVED" is a dance/movement workshop for kids of all ages led by Sarah Slifer Swift. When we say that something “moves” us, we usually mean that it touches us emotionally. Using the sweet sentiments of the Museum’s historic Valentine collection, participants will explore gesture, composition and the fun of communicating through dance. This program is free and open to the public.

She finds a new home and family in billionaire Oliver Warbucks, his personal secretary Grace Farrell, and a lovable mutt named Sandy.

New Year's Rockport Eve 2014

Come to Rockport for a wonderful night a family New Year's Activities!

Rockport New Year's Eve will have plenty of fun and entertainment for families starting at 6 pm and running all the way through to the count down and ball drop in Dock Square at midnight! There will be magicians, puppet shows, and even a drum parade with a green dancing dragon.  This all happens with a backdrop live performances of dance & music ranging from classical music, jazz, reggae and rock & roll! So buy your buttons, come to Rockport, and get ready for a fun evening to ring in the New Year as a family!
