Dance

An active, fun, program where you and your child will learn about the seals that live at the mouth of the Merrimack River. We will learn about what they eat, how they capture their prey, how they care for their young, and how they survive cold waters of the North Atlantic. We will play some games, sing a song or two, make a fun take-home craft, and enjoy a tasty snack!

Children can come dressed as their favorite children's book characters, they'll create a block print with children's illustrator Leslie Evans, make collage art with museum educators and meet children's authors Giles LaRoche, Pat Lowery Collins and Leslie Evans at book signings. Enjoy special tours of the museum’s 17th-century house based on Giles Laroche’s book If You Lived Here: Houses of the World .

“The Enchanted Glen,” a contemporary ballet, is a mystical, Celtic love story, with faeries, banshees, woodland creatures and the White Owl. It is a ballet that will stir your emotions and stimulate your imagination.
