Newburyport Kids' Talent Show

Kids are invited to enter the Kid's Talent Showcase - Newburyport Homecoming

Showcasing the talents of kids of all ages. This is a non-competitive showcase of children’s talent in Newburyport and the surrounding area. Children in grades 1 - 12, ages 6 - 18 who are residents or students in the Newburyport Schools and the immediate surrounding areas will be allowed to participate.

The July 18 Downtown Gloucester block Party is themed for a New Orleans Carnivale!  Wear a  costume and enjoy a fun evening in downtown Gloucester! Food, music, live entertainment, dance, craft and fun come together for a great family time at the Downtown Gloucester Block every Third Saturday through September! Five music stages, shopping 'til 11pm, outside sidewalk dining, live dance performances and all kinds of other fun things to do make the streets come alive. Kids will love the singers and roaming magician, and they'll find games, facepainting, kids snacks, balloons, giant chess and more in 'Kids Town'!

Come to Maudslay State Park everyt htird saturday of the month for a FREE perfor

Theater in the Open invites you to bring the kids, the dog, and the picnic blanket out to beautiful Maudslay State Park! The third Saturday of every warm month, we will be joined by many of our friends in the community to present storytelling, song, dance, fairytale-theater and a fun group activity, all right here in the park and all entirely free!

Learn about frogs turtles and water bugs at Joppa Flats Education Center!

This parent/child program is designed for the creative, curious, and active preschooler. Each 90-minute session offers a structured series of activities including original songs, movement, dramatic play, hands-on science, and a thematic snack. You'll receive coloring pages, song lyrics, vocabulary, a fun fact sheet, and a suggested reading list in an electronic goody bag!

There's plenty to see and do for kids at the Marblehead Art Festival!

Celebrating it's 50th year in 2015, the Marblehead Festival of Arts has had a rich history in producing an annual summer arts Festival over the July 4th holiday week. This premier Festival hosts art exhibits in Painting, Drawing, Sculpture, Mixed Media, Printmaking, Photography, Crafts, Plein aire Painting, Senior Art, Student Art and Youth Art. There's also a lot of great events and activities geared toward keeping kids and families engaged and entertained!

Gloucester Public School Arts Festival - a showcase of Gloucester's young talent

Join the Gloucester Education Foundation in honoring the multi-faceted pool of talent that makes up the population of the Gloucester Public Schools. Kids of all ages make beautiful and amazing art and the creators of the citywide festival seek to celebrate GPS students, their art and those helping our students live, learn and create every day. Come to Downtown Gloucester for a full day of performances and exhibitions that cover a wide range of arts, from ballroom dancing to a day long community art project that is created by participants and visitors alike.

Methuen Ballet Ensemble will present their interpretation of 'The Wizard of Oz' at the Firehouse Center in Newburyport! Join Dorothy, Toto, and their friends as they follow the yellow brick road in search of the Emerald City. Share in the adventure as they encounter many unusual obstacles on their quest to see the great Wizard of Oz!

8th Annual Pizza Taste Off

The 8th annual pizza taste off raises funds for the American Cancer Society

The Interact Club* at Gloucester High School will be holding our 8th annual pizza taste off at Cruiseport Gloucester this year!  Come try different pizzas from restaurants and other food purveyors around Cape Ann.  Proceeds from this event will got to the American Cancer Society through the Cape Ann Relay for Life! Only 300 tickets will be sold, and are available at the door. Come vote for your favorite and stick around to see who wins the title for best pizza, best crust and best sauce!
