Open to children in grades 1 – 8 from all communities on the North Shore, we nurture student musicianship, build confidence, and encourage artistic expression through developmentally appropriate vocal instruction.

The Children's Choir provides and ensemble experience that allows students to develop musically as individuals, while contributing to the joy and artistry of singing together with their peers.  We believe that students of varying ages can learn from each other by leading and working together to create something beyond the individual.

The Newburyport Farmers Market brings the market indoors for the Winter months and encourages people to come see what Newburyport has to offer! Fresh soups will warm you as you find great to local meat, fish & produce, listen to live music, and meet a community of people dedicated to bringing you fresh food year round!

Stowaway Mouse by Daisy Nell

Daisy Nell and Captain Stan visit the library to introduce Daisy’s new book and lead a sing-along. Daisy Nell, native of Essex, MA, brings alive New England’s maritime history through traditional songs of the sea. A familiar voice on the North Shore music scene, she is known for her broad repertoire of traditional folk, chanteys, and contemporary songs. Her husband, Capt. Stan, adds his guitar and dobro to Daisy's banjo and guitar. Together they cover a lot of territory, from the foc’s’le to the farm!

Sarah Gardner comes tot he Danvers Library for a fun morning of music.

Kids are invited to a fun, interactive morning of music and movement with Sarah Gardner at the Peabody Institute Library in Danvers! Sarah's act includes the audience as part of the band. With a set of romping songs, kids get to sing, dance and play along to their favorite stomping, jumping, flying, twirling songs. Come join the fun - Sarah keeps the kids playing, singing and dancing!

Rockport musics presents young composer/musicians Szilvia Miko and Matthew Wooda

Rockport Music hosts two young composer/musicians for a FREE recital at their beautiful waterfront performing arts center in Rockport Massachusetts! Szilvia Mikó and Matthew Woodard are young musicians/composers who will perform works by Beethoven, Copland, Khachaturian, Howard Frazin, as well as compositions of their own.

Award-winning singer and songwriter Charlie Hope will perform at Rockport Public Library on Tuesday, February 18th, 2014 at 10:30 am.

Charlie Hope, an internationally touring, Juno Award-winner and one of the freshest voices in today's burgeoning family music scene.

Her performance at Rockport Public Library invites interaction, with children's classics like "I Love the Mountains, "Apples and Bananas," and "Skip to My Lou" mixed in with original singable songs.

Come to Spencer-Pierce-Little Farm for an open house and winter bonfire!

Come to  Spencer Peirce Little Farm for a mid-winter open house and bonfire to celebrate the official purchase of the town of Newbury on January 13, 1701. As part of this community-wide event, tour the Spencer-Pierce-Little House, enjoy hot cider and donuts for sale in the visitor center, and then walk to the nearby town-sponsored bonfire fueled by Christmas trees in the growing fields of Tendercrop Farm!

Debbie & Friends CD Release Concert

Debbie & Friends tell stories that children know and love with music and song!

Debbie & Friends has released a new CD, 'Variety Show', and they're having a benefit concert to celebrate! This full-band performance will include NEW Debbie and Friends songs and some classic favorites, with top-shelf musicians from Berklee College of Music, including Debbie Cavalier on vocals and keyboard, Rory McKenzie on bass, Eric Salt on guitar, Bill D’Agostino on drums, Mike Carrera on vocals. The band is accompanied by puppets and great cartton videos! There will also be a special guest performance by two-time Grammy-winner, Bill Harley! This is a family show you won't want to miss!

New Year's Rockport Eve 2013

Come to Rockport for a wonderful night a family New Year's Activities!

Rockport New Year's Eve will have plenty of fun and entertainment for families starting at 6 pm and running all the way through to the count down and ball drop in Dock Square at midnight! There will be magicians, puppet shows, and even a drum parade with a green dancing dragon.  This all happens with a backdrop live performances of dance & music ranging from classical music, jazz, reggae and rock & roll! So buy your buttons, come to Rockport, and get ready for a fun evening to ring in the New Year as a family!

North Shore Christian Men's Choir

The North Shore Christian Men's Choir will perform FREE in Rockport

Celebrate the Holidays with the North Shore Christian Men's Choir as they perform a free Christmas concert.  It will take place at First Baptist Church of Rockport prior to the celebration of the Rockport's 68th Annual Christmas Pageant.  This FREE performance is open to the community and all are invited to attend.

A reception and refreshments will follow the concert. All are welcome and invited to attend.
