Middle Street Gloucester comes alive with music and fun for the Harvest Festival

There's a lot going during the Harvest Festival on Middle Street in Gloucester!  Come to the Middle Street Harvest Festival for live music, museum tours, the Thanksgiving Cape Ann Farmers Market, a craft fair and chowder luncheon, story time and crafts for the kids, tours of the Gloucester Fire Station and more! A benefit concert will take place to raise funds for the Grace Center at Trinity Congregational Church of Gloucester.  The Middle Street Harvest Festival is sponsored by Bank Gloucester and other local businesses.

Friends of Dane Street Playground Present the Polar Express at the Cabot Theater

The Friends of Dane Street Playground, a group of neighbors committed to designing and install a new, safe playground at Dane Street Beach, will host a fundraiser at the new Cabot Performing Arts Center (formerly the Cabot Theatre). The event is a family friendly holiday themed movie showing of “The Polar Express.” Tickets include a movie ticket, bell, a visit from Santa, and more! The group will also hold a raffle for several items and themed prize baskets. Tickets will be $15 a seat and are available via paypal payment or cash at the door.

NMYO Thanksgiving Benefit Concert

NMYO is performing a benefit concert to help the ipswich Food Pantry!

Northeast Massachusetts Youth Orchestras will perform a Thanksgiving concert to benefit the Ipswich Community Food Pantry. Come enjoy great music presented by some of the most talented youngsters on the North Shore and help the food pantry when it is needed the most - the week of Thanksgiving!

Aristides Rivas and Eglė Jarkova will perform at the Danvers Public Library

The Friends of the Peabody Institute Library of Danvers present an afternoon of classical music featuring violinist Eglė Jarkova and cellist Aristides Rivas as they perform the works of G.P. Telemann, Reinhold Gliere, M. Ravel, and G.F. Handel.  There will be light refreshments after the concert.

Specializing in the performance of vintage Swing Era and Sinatra classics as well as popular and original songs custom arranged for big band, its mission is to bring this awesome music back into the mainstream for future generations to enjoy.
