Children's Festival in Marblehead

The Children's Festival is just one event of many in the Marblehead Arts Festiva

How wonderful to have kids view the world through a 64-color box of Crayola Crayons instead of an 8-color box, and the Children's Festival is here to help bring out the artist in every child. The Children’s Festival is a unique "hands on" arts-based program of activities directed toward children aged ten years and younger. This year’s theme is “50 Years of Arts and Crafts” as part of Marblehead Festival of Arts.

The festival is sponsored by the Italian-American fishing community of Gloucester. It's a fun, safe tradition for families to enjoy.

Come to the 13th annual Beverly Arts Fest in Downtown Beverly! With more than 4,000 people in attendance every year, the annual Arts Fest Beverly features many attractions, lots of family entertainment and 100 plus juried artists and crafters exhibiting everything from fine art, photography, jewelry, fiber, wood, sculpture, glass, ceramics and mixed media. Artists and crafts people will represent many communities of the North Shore, many of whom are from Beverly.  Most of the work will be priced between $10 and $700 with something for everyone!

4th Annual Beverly Bike Drive

Bring your used and old bikes and parts to Bevenrly MA Commons!

The 4th Annual Beverly Bike Drive will be held at the Beverly Common. Working in partnership with the Boston-based non-profit Bikes Not Bombs, the Beverly Bike Committee is collecting used bicycles, bike frames, bike parts, and tires. Bikes Not Bombs will fix up the bicycles so they can be given to those who most need them. Bikes Not Bombs annually delivers thousands of bicycles to local families and partner communities around the globe. There will be free smoothies (made with a bike-powered blender) for all those who drop off at Common.

As part of the Lowell Summer Music Series, a special series of kids performances takes place on Wednesdays and Thursdays. Activities include make-and-take art at 10 a.m., a performance at 11 a.m., and National Trolley Park rides at noon.

The Pop Ups (Jason Rabinowitz and Jacob Stein) are a two-time-GRAMMY-nominated, Brooklyn-based musical duo which the Wall Street Journal says “reflects the creativity percolating on the independent children's music scene.”In 2014, the duo made their national TV debut on Sprout’s “Sunny Side Up Show,” and released their Grammy-nominated album, "Appetite for Construction."
