Learn about butterflies, where they are going and what they eat at Joppa Flats.

This program teaches kids about butterflies, catapillars and how they are related to moths and butterflies through metamorphosis.   Learn about different kinds of butterflies found on the North Shore, habitats these creatures live in, how to spot them and what will attract them.

Theater in the Open invites you to bring the kids, the dog, and the picnic blanket out to beautiful Maudslay State Park! The third Saturday of every warm month, we will be joined by many of our friends in the community to present storytelling, song, dance, fairytale-theater and a fun group activity, all right here in the park and all entirely free!

This parent/child program is designed for the creative, curious, and active preschooler. Each 90-minute session offers a structured series of activities including original songs, movement, dramatic play, hands-on science, and a thematic snack. You'll receive coloring pages, song lyrics, vocabulary, a fun fact sheet, and a suggested reading list in an electronic goody bag!

How To Save The World at MPL

Come to a Girl Scout Presentation on 'How to Save the World' at MPL!

The Ambassador Girl Scout Troop, #60085 will host How To Save The World program at the Manchester Public Library. The program is for grades kindergarten to 4th. Participants will learn how they affect the environment. The Girl Scouts will also have a fun project for the participants! Registration deadline is April 30th.
